Winter Services

It is crucial to maintenance your vehicles, especially in the winter because of the harsher conditions. Living and working on in the front range results in variable conditions for over half the year. We can outfit your fleet to battle the harsh conditions with the proper equipment and parts. We want to minimize your chances of any failure or accidents. We can offer a few different winter services and parts.
Winter Tires
One of the most overlooked items on the fleet vehicles, a set of winter tires are an easy addition for the less than favorable months. Winter tires are designed for cold weather and conditions. You can increase your traction and control with a good set of winter tires that our service advisors can recommend. If you want to further increase the handling and traction for your fleet vehicles, you can investigate a set of studded winter tires. You can get your set of winter tires through FMS and when the weather comes rolling in, we will get them on your vehicles for you. Then, when spring rolls back around we can swap them out again.
Auto-Socks
Auto socks are a simple inexpensive way to gain a little more traction in the harsh winter road conditions. They are designed to go over your vehicles tire to provide a grippy surface for snow and ice. They are made with durable fiber weave that weighs less than chains and can be stored in smaller spaces. This is a great alternative to chains for vehicles that are not capable of using chains.
Tire Chains
Tire chains are required by commercial vehicles in Colorado between the dates of September 1st through May 31st (including severe weather conditions outside of those dates). The commercial vehicle is defined by Colorado as: -Gross combination weight of 16,001 or more pounds, inclusive of a towed unit, which has a gross vehicle weight-ratio of more than 10,000 -Gross vehicle weight rating of 16,001 or more pounds -Designed to transport 16 or more passengers
